Highlights:

3rd Grade Results for 1-30-10

Michigan State and Tennessee put on a defensive battle throughout in this one with Michigan State prevailing by the score of 14 to 7. Sam Collins 6 points and David Lopez 3 points paced the Michigan State team. Jordan Aparri and Aidan Jacobs scored 2 points apiece to lead Tennessee.

In a offensive output for the complete game with both teams going back and forth at eachother like heavyweight fighters. Texas needed everything from everybody to hold off a well balanced North Carolina team by the score of 29 to 26. Nolan McCoy poured in 11 points and Jake Aelig 8 points paced Texas. A.J. Guanci 12 points lead all scorers and Aiden Martys 4 points help North Carolina hang around.

3rd Grade Results for 1-23-10

In a back in forth game from the start Michigan State held off team Illinois by the score of 15 to 13. Carter Coalson 4 points and Logan Hardgrave 3 points pace the Michigan State team. Tim Langreck and Justin Strand lead the Illinois team with 4 points apiece.

Texas held off Illinois by the score of 22 to 17 in this hard fought battle all game long. Hunter Loprino 10 points and Nolan McCoy 8 points paced the Texas team. Zach White lead the Illinois team with 4 points in a losing cause.

Highlights:

4th Grade Results for 1-23-10

North Carolina held off Tennessee with good team defense by the score of 22 to 15. A.J. Guanci 12 points and Shane Colby 5 points paced North Carolina. Tennessee was lead by Cade Darling with 6 points in a losing effort.

Duke kept up its winning ways by defeating Syracuse by the score of 20 to 11. Isaac Kaufmann 8 points and Spencer Zanck 6 points lead the Duke team in scoring. Zach Lipecki and Clode Presisto scored 4 points each for the Syracuse team.

In a defensive battle from start to finish Kansas took cared of Gonzaga by the score of 10 to 6. Kansas was lead by Brian Kline and Theo Hutchens 4 points apiece for the victory. Mike Bahl scored 3 points for the Gonzaga team in a losing effort.

4th Grade Results for 1-30-10

Duke continued to stay hot by holding off Gonzaga by the score of 13 to 10. The game was a back and forth game from start to finish. Brian Flores and Isaac Kaufmann both scored 4 points apiece for Duke. Mike Bahl and Tyler Dobbie scored 4 points each in a losing effort.

It took overtime for UCLA to take care of Kansas by the score of 16 to 14. Sam Limbaugh scored 4 points for UCLA but none more important than the game winner with not time on the clock to spring UCLA to victory. Brian Kline lead Kansas with 6 points for the game.

Syracuse needed to hold off the hard playing UCLA team late to dial in a victory by the score of 15 to 12. Clode Presisto lead all scorers and Syracuse with 9 points. Kevin Herbst lead the UCLA team with 5 points.

Highlights:

5th and 6th Boys Rec Basketball Results for 1-25-10

The undefeated Hornets needed a late rally to hold off the pesky Cavaliers by the score of 24 to 18. Brandon Haulotte lead the Hornets with 10 points. Alex Mueckenhoffs 8 points on sharp shooting from all over the floor kept the Cavs tight throughout.

In a game that had 20 lead changes throughout, the Celtics needed an overtime session and a game winning field goal with no time on the clock by Micah Muhenfeld to lead the Celtics to a 29 to 27 victory over the Bulls in a hard fought battle. Zach Collum 10 points and Frank Bergs 7 points lead the Celtics. Jose Alanis from the Bulls lead all scorers with 16 points.

The final game of the nights the Lakers took care of the Nuggets by the score of 29 to 23. The game came down to late field goals by Sam Gibson 12 points and made free throws to slow down the Nuggets. Isaiah Webb paced the Nuggets with 10 points draining jump shots all game for the losing team.
